Long Time Comin....

Wow has it been a while since I've updated the blog! Things have been crazy busy around the Rockwell house! I will give a re-cap of what has been going on. We were able to have Dylan more than what we expected in the month of May. We had him pretty much the entire month of May and June. We have been loving every second of having him here! There is no doubt that he is supposed to be with us! The court process is going... it is an uphill battle but it will be completely worth it in the end! We got two four-wheelers from my in-laws and they are so much fun! We went on a ride on Saturday and we all loved it! There is no doubt that four-wheeling will be a frequent event for us. Of course Real Salt Lake games are a must in this household. We got zoo memberships with my sister-in law and so that has been a frequent visit for the family. Dylan LOVES going and seeing all the animals! I love that we can do it as a family, that it is educational, and I get some excercise walking all over the place :) Yesterday we threw Ted a suprise birthday party (a little early so that Dylan could be there). It was so much fun! Today is our 7 month anniversary! Its crazy how fast these last 7 months have gone by! We definetely have our ups and downs. But there is no one I would rather go through these experiences with then Ted. He is seriously my rock. Whenever I am down and discouraged he always lifts me up and knows exactly what to say to make me feel better! I love him so much! Dylan is growing and amazes me how smart he is! He is seriously the funniest kid ever! I am so lucky to be his mom! There is no greater feeling then when he comes in the morning, snuggles up to me, and says, "Your the best mom ever!" Completely melts my heart into a huge puddle! Before I met Ted I never would have thought that I would marry someone with kids. But I can honestly say that I couldn't imagine life any other way! I love washing his cute little clothes (they are always dirty- but are still so cute), I love having kids toothpaste in the bathroom (just not all over the sink), I love having little boys toys all over the house (except when I step on them), I love just having his sweet spirit around me. He and I get to spend a lot of time together and I cherish those precious moments with him. Today he had to go back to his moms house. Due to summer parenting time, we don't get to see Dylan for three weeks. It is so difficult to say goodbye to him! Today when I dropped him off he just started crying because he didn't want to leave. Completely broke my heart into a million pieces! I had to tell him these three weeks will be awful, but it will be worth it in the end when we have him forever! Ted and Dylan are by far the best thing that has ever happened to me! Now here are some pics of recent events- Enjoy :)
